Workshop attended by Management Faculty
Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, Assistant Professor at I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad, attended an online Two-weeks workshop on "Capacity Building Program - Advance Research Insights with Research Methodology and SEM Essentials" Sponsored by ICSSR & organized by IES's Management College, Bandra Reclaimation, Mumbai from March 11 - 22, 2024.
The FDP was organized on Zoom Platform where around 50 Faculty & Research Scholars participated from different parts of India. During the workshop, Research related very important aspects like; Simple and Multiple Regression Analysis, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Introduction to the software AMOS, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Common bias (CMB) test, Measurement Model Assessment, Discussing Fit Indices and higher order construct etc. were covered. Mr. Ashutosh Sharma was awarded with participation certificate.

Management student and faculty members attended Start-Up Mahakumbh 2024
I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad organised a visit to “Start-Up Mahakumbh” to Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi for PGDM (2023-2025) batch along with faculty members: Dr. Namita Mishra, Dr. Richa Narayan Agarwal, Dr. Manoj Kumar Jha, Dr. Vinay Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Indraneel Mandal and Prof. Ashutosh Sharma on Monday, March 18, 2024.
With an emphasis on fostering a conducive environment for start-up growth, the event served as a platform for inspiring dialogue and collaboration among budding entrepreneurs and industry experts.
The event started with the inaugural panel discussion on “Start-Up “Ecosystem. The discussion aimed to highlight the role of entrepreneurship and innovation in shaping India’s future.
The panel on “Incubator Start-up Centre of Excellence” deliberated on the importance of establishing incubators as centers of excellence to nurture and support budding start-ups across various sectors. The conversation delved into the realm of deep technology, emphasizing its significance in driving innovation and sustainable growth in the country’s economy.
The discussion highlighted the substantial funding opportunities available for start-ups, with a staggering $60 billion earmarked for the sector over the next two years. The panel expressed optimism regarding India’s potential to emerge as a global leader in entrepreneurship and innovation.
Later students visited exhibition and saw many new ideas being marketed through robust incubator start-up ecosystem. They saw how the potential of deep technology is driving innovation and economic growth, positioning India as a key player in the global start-up landscape.
Students had the opportunity to explore numerous start-up stalls, including well-known brands like Nyka, where they engaged in various activities and won exciting freebies. The event proved to be an enriching experience for the students, providing them with practical knowledge and hands-on learning opportunities.

Dr. Ritu invited as resource person for Expert Talk.
Dr. Ritu Saxena, an Assistant Professor at I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad, conducted a session titled "Analysis of Recruitment Channels" for working professionals of Skill Arbitrage, one of the leading online Edtech companies on March 16, 2024.
It was an enriching opportunity to exchange knowledge with a diverse group of professionals. Dr. Saxena delved into the significance of HR Analytics, elucidating the reasons behind its importance, emphasizing recruitment metrics, and highlighting the pivotal role of various recruitment channels. The session was interactive, featuring hands-on exercises for analysing recruitment channels. Participants were actively engaged, contributing insightful questions and discussions.

participated and presented their research paper on the title “A STUDY TO MEASURE THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS FOR MARKETING” during 3rd International Conference on “Digital Transformation towards Sustainable Development in Future”, Vision: Viksit Bharat@2047 Organised by Research Affairs Committee, organized by Research Committee Rajdhani College, University of Delhi on March 8th - 9th, 2024.
The Conference was organized on Zoom Platform where around 90 selected papers were presented by Researchers & Scholars from more than 15 countries.

Dr. Satish Kumar, faculty of I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad attended the ASSOCHAM Branding & Marketing Summit cum Excellence Awards on Thursday, 7th March at Hotel, The Leela Ambience, Gurugram on the theme “Future of Marketing”.
The event marked a significant gathering of notable leaders and speakers shaping the landscape of the industry.
Mr. Puneet Das, Chairman, National Council on Branding and Marketing, ASSOCHAM & President, Packaged Beverages (India & South Asia), Tata Consumer Products Ltd., extended a gracious welcome to Chief Guest Mr. Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Former CEO, Prasar Bharati.

Participation as a Session Chair in the National Seminar on Role of Women Empowerment in Economic Development
Dr. Namita Mishra , Faculty of I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad participated as a Session Chair in the National Seminar on Role of Women Empowerment in Economic Development organized by RKSD College ,Kaithal ,Haryana on March 5, 2024.
The objective of the conference was to provide a robust platform for expression of interest and cognitive thoughts and promote research among all the active participants in the conference .The session was held on the basis of presentation, discussions and followed with one to one feedback. The experts talk based on the Shecession, Gender Parity, Gender Equality, Gender Parity index. The focus of the session was on research papers that addressed actual issues and situations and pros and cons of Role of Women Empowerment in Economic Development.

I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad PGDM Students and Faculty members attended National Conclave on Viksit Bharat@2047 on February 27, 2024 at Hotel Shangri La, New Delhi. The event aimed to discuss and plan India's development by 2047, covering various important topics.
Student of PGDM 2023-25 Batch, namely Ankita Agarwal, Nishu Yadav, Nirdosh Kumar Singh, Rishi Singh, Priyanka Prakash, Shivangi Gupta along with faculty member’s Dr. Anusha Agarwal & Prof. Yachana Malhotra attended the sessions.
The event started and ended with talks from influential figures, Chief Guest was Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of Finance & Corporate Affairs emphasized that “Goal is not only to make Viksit Bharat, it is our duty to provide better India, and Youth feel proud to live in India. Guest of Honor was Shri Anurag Thakur, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Sports & Youth Affairs and he shared the journey of India from UPA to UPI. He also told us that Hon’ble PM believes in Team Work Sab Ka Sath Sab ka Vikas. The welcome speech was given by Dr. Anish Shah, President, FICCI & CEO, Mahindra Group in which he told us that FICCI is supporting Viksit Bharat and working on 4 aspects:
· Make in India
· Women Empowerment
· Farm Prosperity
· Sustainability
Special Address was given by Shri Harsh Pati Singhania, J K Paper Ltd. Where he told us that, Viksit Bharat is not just a vision, it is not a desire of individual,it is a desire of collective India.The inaugural session was followed by three stimulating panel discussions on the theme Farmers First. The session focused on improving agriculture for farmers' prosperity and Financial Inclusion Discussion on making India financially strong.
In the post lunch session focused on Women-Led Development the role of women in India's development was discussed.
All the sessions successfully captured the potential of India's manufacturing sector and its strategic importance in economic growth and job creation. The speakers provided valuable perspectives on various aspects of manufacturing, contributing to the vision of making India a global manufacturing leader by 2047.
It was an enriching experience and learning for all and helped everyone to network with the industry professionals.

Guest lecture on Global Supply Chain at IIP Delhi by Management Faculty
Prof.(Dr.) Shailendra Kumar Dube, Professor-Operations, faculty of I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad was invited for guest lecture on “Global Supply Chain”, by Additional Director, Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) Delhi, Ministry of Commerce, GOI.
The proposed expert lecture was intended for the visiting delegation from Bhutan, under the auspices of Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Govt. of India on February 26, 2024.
The two weeks residential training programme on Packaging Technology, was jointly organized by the Ministry of Industrial Development, Govt. of Bhutan & the MEA, Govt. of India, which was held between February 19, 2024 to March 3, 2024. Around 40 domain experts from PAN India (Presence Across Nation) comprised academicians from premier institutions, Corporate doyens and Industry.
The session was highly appreciated by the visiting delegation and the IIP Delhi authorities.
