Mr Yamini Bhushan Pandey, MD, IIML EIC, delivered the welcome address. He also spoke about the support offered by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, Startup India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

Mr Amit Trivedi, Head Investments, EIC, talked about the partnership with NABARD, following which Shri S. K. Dora, CGM NABARD, held forth on the Joint Accelerator Programme.

On the anvil was also IIML’s partnership with Microsoft, on behalf of whom Mr Raghav Sehgal provided insights on the latest developments in the technology sector. He enlightened the audience about Microsoft Startup Founders’.

Also on the agenda was the announcement of the partnership between IIML EIC and State Bank of India. Mr Saket Dalmia, President, PHDCCI elaborated on his involvement with the government. The keynote address by Prof. Neerja Pandey, Dean, IIML, emphasised on the strategic partnerships Finally, Prof. Pooja Pandey, who leads the Enterprise HER initiative for women entrepreneurs at IIML EIC, apprised all concerned about the woman led enterprises who had qualified for support from the institution.

Subsequently guests were given a guided tour of the incubation centre on campus. All in all, it was a fruitful day for the participants.

The objective of the event was to make students depict team Coordination, Creativity, Problem Solving and Time Management Skills.

The event started by the address of the Club Coordinator Dr. Vivek Pachauri. In the activity, ten teams participated, each team consisting of four members. There was a pre-prepared goodie bag of random objects. One member from each team had to pick three goodies from the bag. The member selecting the goodies was blindfolded. Each team was given 5 minutes for thinking and 3 minutes for enacting the skit. The total time for the activity was 8 minutes.

The teams were judged upon the basis of time management, creativity, coordination and effective use of props in the act. The judges for the event were Prof. Shikha Aggarwal and Dr. Shailendra Kumar Dube.

Out of 10 teams,3 teams were declared as winners :-

Appreciation certificates and trophies were awarded to the winners by Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Chairperson PGDM, Club coordinator Dr. Vivek Pachauri and the esteemed judges. Certificates of participation were given to the rest of the participants. 

The sessions were addressed by Mr. Yogeshwr Prakaash, Senior Consultant, and Mr.Tandeep Chattopadhyay, Senior Analyst at Evalueserves Pvt. Ltd, Gurugram.

Mr Tandeep focussed on research modelling and research techniques for resolving the issues of organization and society. He discussed various types of research i.e. Exploratory Research, Descriptive Research, and Causal Research.

Mr Prakaash explained about use of SPSS in Data Analyses and elaborated on Data Modelling.

The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Rajeev Johari.

The objective of this event :

·           To enhance players’ observation skills and intuitive abilities, and hone their alertness and concentration.

·           To enhance the ability to collaborate and work together.

11 teams have been selected on the basis of first come first serve basis. All 11 teams play 1st level.  Out of 11 teams, 8 teams were selected for the 2nd level, and for the final level, 5 teams were selected.  Teams were selected as winners from evaluation by the event judge Prof. Mansi Tomar.

The felicitation ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Timira Shukla, Director & Dr. Shikha Arora, First Year PGDM Coordinator. The winning teams were awarded certificates of appreciation and gift hampers.

The interactive & fun-filled activity was conducted by Prof. Mansi Singh. 

The talk was delivered by Alumnus PGDM (2007-2009 batch) Ms. Supreeti Singh, Manager – Motherson Sumi Systems Limited, Noida. 

Dr.Timira Shukla, Director- I.T.S School of Management welcomed the guest by presenting a plant sapling. Prof. Durba Roy introduced Ms. Supreeti Singh to the audience.

Ms. Supreeti started the session by sharing her experience at I.T.S school ofmanagement. Further, she shared her journey from campus to corporate. She spoke aboutthe career in Human Resource as a HR Manager. During her address, she emphasized on thechanging of mindset about the perception about salary package. She said that except being focused about higher salary packages, budding managers should try to be focused about being ethical and professional. She said that the role of a HR manager should be holistic in nature to provide a brighter future to the organization as well as to the society.

She highlighted several examples of corporate sector where HR managers are re-skilling and /or upskilling to acquire new competencies to stay relevant and abreast of the changing landscape of work.  Ms. Supreeti also emphasised on the role of HR in creating a  positive environment for the employees as well as for employers so that organization can sustain for a long in the market.

She answered all the queries asked by the students satisfactorily. Prof. Durba Roy presented a memento as a token of gratitude to the alumnus.

Professor Lam Khin Yong, Vice President (Industry), NTU Singapore addressed the audience through his opening remarks. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Honorable Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India described the 3C Model i.e. capacity, capability and capital in addressing problems of the country. He stressed on technological aspects in both countries to boost the environment of Innovation and Research & Development. Mr Gan Kim Yong, Honorable Minister for Trade and Industry, Government of Singapore discussed about financial inclusion for encouraging the startups.

Discussions centered onward technology, finance, block chain, IT, sustainability, research, unicorn, materials tangible and other. The program was informative and insightful for new startups, entrepreneurs and industry.    

The objective of the Research Symposium was to develop research abilities in students and provide them insights in their research reports in Finance Area.  Students demonstrated the research work to the panel for suggestions and evaluation. The winners were felicitated by trophies. 

 Overall the experience was enriching and overwhelming.

The objective of the conference was to provide a common platform for researchers from the Academia as well as the Industry and students to discuss and present their research work by providing an opportunity for collaboration among them. As a resource person the talk focused on IPR and its processes, know how to develop a patentable idea.

The volunteers were students of PGDM (2022-24 batch). Day’s focus was to teach names of Days and Names of months in English to the underprivileged children of Sahibabad area. The student volunteers included Shobhit, Akansha, Rupali, Radhika, Harsa & Abhinav.

Among student volunteers Rupali started by teaching names of days in a week with spelling to the children. After that Radhika taught names of months in a year with spelling. At the last Harsa & Abhinav organized an interesting number game activity for the children, which was enjoyed by the children a lot.

The activity ended with the distribution of cakes & candies among the children. Prof. Ashutosh Sharma accompanied and guided the students.

The gender equality summit 2023 focuses on innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.
