PGDM students attended “HallaBol” at Aajtak Studio.
I.T.S School of Management organised a visit to Aajtak Studio, leading news channel for PGDM students (2024-26 Batch)
along with Prof. Ashutosh Sharma on 9thAugust, 2024. The show was hosted by popular news anchor Ms. Anjana Om Kashyap. The students attended the debate “HallaBol” which involved speakers from different political parties.
The debatewas on the issue of “WAKF Board Bill”. The discussion involvedShriPrem Shukla, Speaker from Bhartiya Janta Party, Mr. Aziz Ahmad Khan, Speaker from Samajwadi Party, Mr. Waris Pathan, speaker from AIMIM and Mr. Satya Prakash Mishra.
The students were given opportunities to ask questions from the guest speakers. Among the students; Ravi Kumar Thakur, Aman Mishra, JamesKasana, Roushan, Ajitesh Singh, Sakshi Pathak, Akash Chauhan, Harsh Chaudhary, Ranjeet Tomar& Aditya Kumar Singh asked the questions from speakers.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience as the students got a chance to be a part of the popular show. Students were served refreshments at the end.

Panel Discussion on "Industry Readiness; Alumni Experience Sharing"
I.T.S School of Management organized a session on ‘Campus to Corporate – Alumni Experience sharing’ for the students of PGDM 2023-25 Batch during the Re-Orientation Program on August 06, 2024.
The Program initiated under the gracious presence of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, I.T.S School of Management; Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Chairperson-PGDM Programme, Prof. Durba Roy Associate Vice President, CRC, Dr. D.K. Pandey and Prof. Yachna Malhotra, Co-ordinator 2nd year; Faculty Members and students of PGDM 2023-25 batch.

Panel discussion was moderated by Prof. Durba Roy, AVP–Corporate Resource Center. She commenced the session by inviting each panelist to share their professional journey and experiences in the corporate world.
Mr.Sudeep Jain emphasized that maintaining a positive attitude and zeal is crucial for success. He advised students to adapt their learning methods while keeping their core attitudes intact. The most essential element, according to Mr. Jain, is having the right attitude, as it shapes the way one approaches challenges and opportunities.
Mr.AnujTomar highlighted the importance of differentiating oneself through skills and critical thinking. He stressed that students should cultivate a practical perspective to stand out,which includes applying knowledge in real-world
Mr.Jitender Singh urged students to engage with mentors and set clear goals. He advised not to focus solely on salary packages but to consider long-term career growth. He emphasized the importance of mastering tools like Excel in finance, as these are crucial for a successful career.
Ms. Shailvi Gupta encouraged students to remain open to learning and to stay humble, especially during the early stages of their careers. She emphasized that adaptability and perseverance are the most essential traits, helping one navigate through challenging times.
Mr. Gourab Nag recommended that students reach out to their seniors and remain passionate about their chosen job roles. He highlighted the importance of having a positive mindset during interviews.
Mr. Arindam Mitra discussed the perspective of HR during the initial 30 seconds of an interview, where skills may take a backseat to assessing cultural fit. He emphasized that being a good cultural fit within the organization is crucial.
The session was engaging as the students peped up many questions related to their career to the Aumni. The session provided the students with a comprehensive understanding of the traits and skills required for success in the corporate world.
At the end of Alumni Panel Discussion session, Dr. Ajay Kumar-Director I.T.S School of Management presented memento and corporate gifts to the all the distinguished Alumni as token of gratitude and appreciation.

Surinder Sood, Director-PR, I.T.S- The Education Group; Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director, I.T.S School of Management; Distinguished Eminent Speakers Emeritus Prof.(Dr.) Devendra Pathak, ( Professor Emeritus & Chief Executive Officer, FORE Academy of Management Education); Ms. Ganga Nidhi Agarwal, (Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) & Air Force Officer, Former under Secretary G20 Secretariat MEA during Indian Presidency); Ms. Sadhana Karwal, (CEO & Co-Founder Brand Bazooka Advertising Pvt. Ltd); Mr. Ajay Prasad (Vice President – Aon Founder-B3 Galaxy); Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Chairperson-PGDM Programme, Faculty members and students of PGDM 2023-25 batch.
The inaugural session commenced with the welcome address by Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director I.T.S School of Management, enlightened the gathering with his words of wisdom and discussed the importance of self-determination and self-belief to progress in changing the environment of business. Dr. Ajay also accentuated the gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure to the students to face the challenges of corporate life.
Dr. Anusha Agarwal, in her address focused on the theme of reorientation programme and shared the complete programme overview with the students.
Sh. Surinder Sood, in his address to the students, discussed the importance of learning, unlearning and relearning in changing business environment. Sh. Sood also emphasized on the new paradigm of learning in the pandemic and post pandemic era, opportunities in adversities to meet out ever changing corporate expectations.
Prof.(Dr.) Devendra Pathak, addressed the students and discussed the importance of networking in corporate life. Dr. Pathak emphasized on setting clear goals in working life and developing different alternatives to achieve them. He discussed the importance of research skills, analytical skills and AI in value creation for the organizations.
Ms. Ganga Nidhi Agarwal, (OSD to Ministry of External Affairs) emphasized on the importance of out of box thinking and leaving the comfort zone to get success in professional life. She also discussed the importance of punctuality, dedication and synergic approach for getting success in corporate world.
Ms. Sadhana Karwal, highlighted the programme's aim to connect academic learning with real-world demands. She emphasized understanding corporate behavior, gaining experience through campus placements, the importance of continuous learning and earning, and surrounding oneself with better individuals.
Mr. Ajay Prasad, emphasized the importance of HR and essential leadership skills, highlighting the need to nurture meaningful relationships. He advised being a giver rather than a seeker and surrounding oneself with genuine people instead of being overly competitive.
Towards the closure, the students were also felicitated by the dignitaries for maintaining 100% attendance in PGDM IIIrd trimester.
At the end all the distinguished guests were presented memento and corporate gifts as token of gratitude and appreciation.The session was concluded with recitation of national anthem.
The session witnessed an active and engaging participation from all the students.

Participation as a Session Chair in the International Conference on Digital Transformation :Business Economy .
Dr. Namita Mishra , Faculty of I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad participated as a Session Chair in the International Conference on Digital Transformation :Business Economy organized by Trade preneur Global research organisation and Polytechnic Institute of Beja Portugal on July 27-28, 2024 .
The objective of the conference was to provide a robust platform for Research paper presentation and discussion to promote research among all the active participants in the conference .The session was held on the basis of presentation of research papers & discussions . The experts talk based on the Session on Evolution of digitalisation and India's Achievements till 2024. Further the research papers were focused on use of Technologies for economic sustainability through different techno driven techniques.

Workshop on EBSCO for PGDM 2024-26 Batch
I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad organized a Workshop on “EBSCO” for PGDM (2024-26) batch on Friday , July, 26, 2024.
Expert for the workshop was Mr. Lakhpat Singh, Training Manager at EBSCO information services, New Delhi.
Mr. Lakhpat Singh shared his views about qualitative and authentic literature reviews, summaries, articles, journals, citation and other reading material which is available on EBSCO websites. He explained how students related to different managerial fields can enhance their knowledge by reading quality material available on the websites. He explained how the EBSCO helps students to write research papers, citations, dissertations. He further explained the importance of authentic data backed by government websites and trustworthy resources in research. He ended the session with giving beautiful insight to students how one can use, process and register in EBSCO websites and use it effectively and efficiently.
The workshop ended with immense knowledge on E-Books and Research related material and how EBSCO helped learners to read books related to different areas.

Prof. Durba Roy, Head- CRC welcomed all the alumni and moderated the session. By sharing their success stories, alumni informed the prospective students about the significance of learning and development. The participants were most excited and interested to hear from the alumni about various stories and activities they enjoyed during their life at I.T.S School of Management.
The alumni also shared their memories about fears, hopes & anxieties; and how I.T.S School of Management helped them to overcome these challenges due to which they achieved great heights in their professional journey. During the session students asked various queries, which were addressed by the alumni.
Towards the end of the session, Dr. Ajay Kumar (Director), Dr. Anusha Agarwal (Chairperson), Dr. D.K. Pandey and Prof. Durba Roy presented plaques to all the alumni.
The day ended with the session on Experience Sharing by the students, coordinated by Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Dr. Richa Narayan Agarwal & Prof. Ritu Saxena.

Session on "PoSH – Prevention of Sexual Harassment" for PGDM (2024-26 Batch) students
I.T.S School of Management organized a session " PoSH – Prevention of Sexual Harassment " on 20th July, 2024 as part of the Aspirations 2024, Orientation Program for the 29th Batch of PGDM (2024-26) Batch. The objective of the session was to make the students aware about the Posh-Act-2013. The session was conducted by Ms. Rashmi Chaudhary, Advocate Member of Delhi High Court & All India Bar Association. She is also a certified Posh Expert.
Ms. Rashmi spoke about the Posh Act and how it is a crucial component in corporate world. She said that Preventing sexual harassment in the corporate world is crucial for fostering a safe and respectful work environment. She said that According to Posh-Act-2013 every industry is bound to follow compliances about;

Ø Leadership Commitment
Ø Support Systems for Victims

Further Ms. Rashmi said that PoSH Act represents a significant role in ensuring a safe and respectful work environment by providing clear guidelines and robust mechanisms for preventing, addressing, and redressing sexual harassment in the workplace, by mandating the formation of Internal Complaints Committees, ensuring confidentiality and protection for complainants, and holding employers accountable through regular training, awareness programs, and stringent penalties for non-compliance, the POSH Act not only empowers employees but also fosters a culture of dignity and equality, therefore PoSH is considered to be a comprehensive approach underscores the commitment to create workplaces free from harassment, where every individual can work without fear and with respect.
At the end of the session Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director- I.T.S School of Management, presented memento to Ms. Rashmi Chaudhary as a token of gratitude.

Aman Goel, a student of the PGDM Batch 2023-25 and Dr. Rajeev Johari, faculty member at I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad has successfully presented a research paper at the prestigious 5th International Conference
on "Sustainability, Leadership, and Technology: Towards a Better Tomorrow." This conference was organized by the Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research (WeSchool), Mumbai, and took place on July 18-19, 2024. The event has attracted participants from across the globe.
The 5th International Conference was a significant academic event, featuring over 300 research papers presented by scholars, researchers, and industry experts from various countries. The conference aimed to address critical issues related to sustainability, leadership, and technology, focusing on innovative solutions and future trends.
Research paper was titled "Financial Frauds in the Era of Digitization: Challenges and Solutions," was a comprehensive study exploring the growing challenges of financial frauds in the digital age.

Personality Development Programme for PGDM 2024-26 Batch
I.T.S School of Management, Ghaziabad organized a session on “Personality Development Programme” on the theme “10X Growth” for the students of 29th Batch of PGDM 2024-26 during the Orientation Program “ASPIRATIONS 2024” on July 189 2024.
The session was conducted by Ms. Deepali Jain, Sales, Leadership, Purpose Coach, and Founder of Manmauji Safar. It began with an exploration of the value of success and the role of higher education in achieving it.
Ms. Deepali shared practical tips on realistic goal setting. Key areas highlighted included self-understanding, the importance of self-discipline and self-determination, overcoming stage fear, and effectively handling difficult situations. She discussed the concepts of Mindfulness and Participant learning styles, which ranged from the Prisoner to the Vacationer and Learner mindset.
Students engaged in various indoor activities that encouraged interaction. Ms. Deepali also explained the importance of assertiveness in student life using a video. The session was highly interactive, with participants asking many relevant questions, which Ms. Deepali answered to their satisfaction.
In the later part of the day, students took part in video sessions and some outdoor activities like Shoes Stepping, 10X Dream Job, Binge Dancing that helpedstudents to discover and realize their hidden potential and understand the meaning of Power Personality in personal and professional life. The session concluded with the presentation of a plaque of honor to Ms. Deepali Jain as a token of gratitude.
